Too holiday to blog

So here I am in a beautiful little cottage in the hills just north of Victor Harbour, my family surrounding me, the cool breeze coming in through the window after a long, hot summer’s day and I should be full of enthusiasm for the whole process, and bursting at the seams to articulate each and every detail of the day’s holiday making.

But no.

In lieu of words, here is a brief postcard of today:

Alpacas in the early morning

I suppose technically wasn’t part of my day.  Harry took this shot, and while he was taking it Jack and I were out riding.

Cows!

While Harry and Liz were checking out the Alpacas, this was the kind of livestock on the side of the road as we rode.  But to tell the truth, Harry also took this photo, so these weren’t *actual* cows from the side of the road that Jack and I were on.

Which is to say, they were *actual* cows of course, just not from the actual road we were on.

Cottage-cute

Did I mention that we’re staying at this place called Primrose Cottage.  In retrospect, given the name of the place, signs over the bedroom doors shouldn’t be a surprise.

Snorkelling

It’s a beach holiday, after all!

Clouds

When you’re on holiday, even the clouds look better.
