I’d like to report a race entry, or a Criterium result, or a spectacular ride, but alas I’ve temporarily lost my Bicycle Mojo. I expect it to return properly, any day now. It’s already made a few momentary appearances in the last few weeks.
Perhaps the return from East Timor back to the cold and wet of a Melbourne La Nina winter/spring was part of the problem. The thought of going out in the wet and the cold just wasn’t that appealing.
Clearly I just need to be a bit more attentive to Rule # 5. Or I could claim that I’m tapering, I suppose.
I have entered the Audax Alpine Classic again this summer, so Mojo or not I’d better get out there and start doing the kilometers I suppose. In other words, I’ll be peaking in 2 months!
In the mean time, here’s another take on why men and women have such trouble seeing eye to eye sometmes:
